In 2016, Et Taïbi exchanged the youth academy of KV Mechelen for that of KRC Genk. In December 2018 he signed his first contract with Genk. In June 2021 he extended his contract until mid-2024. In the 2021/22 season he played two games with Genk's U19 in the UEFA Youth League: in the first round he played both the entire match in the first and second legs against 1. FC Köln.

On August 14, 2022, he was at the kick-off during the first match of Jong Genk, the promise team of KRC Genk, in First Division B. Five days later, he was also at the kick-off against KMSK Deinze on the second competition day, but this time Et Taïbi played did not finish the match: in the second half he had to leave the field due to an ankle injury. A week later it turned out that Et Taïbi would not have to undergo surgery, but that the calendar year 2022 was over for him.

On January 24, 2023, Et Taïbi made his comeback at Jong Genk: in the league match against FCV Dender EH (0-1 win), coach Hans Somers immediately let him play for 80 minutes. He also played in the three subsequent league games. In the play-downs he missed a few games due to minor injuries, but he did not miss a minute in the six last games of the season. Et Taïbi clocked twelve league matches in its debut season.

In July 2023, Et Taïbi moved to Club Brugge, where he signed a two-year contract. On August 12, 2023, he was immediately given a starting place at Club NXT on the opening day of First Division B. Club NXT won this match 3-2 against Lierse. Kempenzonen, despite an own goal by Et Taïbi in the second half.
